Add or edit your payment method

When you add or update a payment method, it becomes your default for future purchases, not just the current item or show. You can update it anytime.

The Whatnot app offers the most payment options. You can also manage payments from the Payments page on whatnot.com.

Update from your account

  1. Open the Whatnot app

  2. Tap Account.

  3. Select Payments & Shipping.

  4. Tap the pencil icon next to Add Payment Method.

  5. Choose a payment type.

  6. Add a new method or select one you’ve already saved.

Update during a show

  1. Tap the Wallet icon.

  2. Tap Payment.

  3. Choose a payment type.

  4. Add a new method or select one you’ve already saved.

Remove a payment method

You can remove a payment method if you have more than one saved to your account.

To remove a payment method:

  1. Open the Whatnot app.

  2. Tap Account.

  3. Select Payments & Shipping

  4. Tap the pencil icon next to Add Payment Method.

  5. Choose a payment type:

    • Credit or debit cards: Tap Edit, then tap the red X next to the card you want to remove.

    • PayPal, Apple Pay, Venmo, Google Pay: Tap to manage or remove the linked account. You may be redirected to the payment provider to make changes.

Having trouble removing a payment method? Contact Whatnot support. We’re happy to help with most payment options, but Apple Pay must be managed directly through Apple.
